Tell us about Wasabi Crunch!
The idea behind Wasabi Crunch started back in 2004. We knew we wanted to do two things: 1) Create our own unique graphic tees and 2) Incorporate Japanese themes. For years, we tested out different design elements, and went through several shirt suppliers and printers until we finally found the right combination of fit, design, and color.
Who are you?
Wasabi Crunch is the brain child of two people - Misa and Kaji! Misa handles all the designing, conceptualization, and logistics. Kaji turns Misa's crazy ideas into reality, with his mad design and illustration skills!
What are your inspirations for your designs?
Design ideas come from practically everywhere! Misa has a CRAZY imagination. She's influenced by anime, quirky music, Japanese humor, comic books, food... even a simple bottle of Japanese mayo can light her bulb.
